lensvillage review

hihi long time no see lol

it's been months since i've updated this blog and now i am finally posting something! it feels good to be blogging again seriously hahah. i will try harder to upload consistently, at least once a month!

anyway moving on! i got 2 lenses (ifairy nobulk pink and ifairy ava brown) and a pair of false lashes (femme classic 101-1) from lensvillage (@lensvillagedotcom)

okayy so, before we move on, let me clarify that this review reflects 100% of my true feelings! primarily focusing on the products (i was too excited to take pics of packaging) but i can assure you everything was well packaged otherwise i wouldn't be able to wear them lol.

comfort: 5 / 5

they are such comfy lenses. i think it helps considering the water content is %. i have worn them for 10+ hours and i don't experience any discomfort! sure my eyes are going to be a little dry for wearing for so long at the end of the day lol. otherwise i am able to wear them for the vast majority of the day.

colour: 4 / 5

just like the customer photos portray, they are not super opaque pink lenses. depending on your eye colour the outcome can be different but with dark brown eyes it lightens well and shows a subtle pink.

enlargement: 4 / 5

it nicely enlarges my eyes but still looking quite subtle! however as it is a translucent pink, there is a "halo" effect aka a ring can be side outside my natural iris. for me personally, i am not too bothered about this effect, i think it helps with there being a subtle outline design to prevent it looking like around your eyes is just pink.

overall thoughts:

i am soso glad i picked this lenses because i am in love with them! the pattern is really pretty and the colour is so beautiful. not only that, they are incredibly comfy!!! i recommend these lenses if you want a change in eye colour but not too bold so it's still suitable for everyday wear!

comfort: 5 / 5

just like the other lenses, i find these very comfortable!! i am able to wear them for 10+ hours and still not feel irritated. thinking about it, in my experience i always find ifairy lenses comfortable to wear! of course at the end of the day my eyes are a little dry cause my eyes are tired from wearing it all day.

colour: 3 / 5

the colour is different from how the lenses are actually like. it's a translucent yellow rather than brown but being on dark brown eyes it lightens them well! it has no dark rim and a delicate pattern so it has a very natural look however as the diameter is larger than my actual eyes you do see a halo effect where the lenses are over my iris. so around my eyes they look reddish lol.

overall thoughts:

i am not so psyched on these lenses, like i do like them don't get me wrong i like how they lighten my eyes. however i think having a dark rim or a smaller diameter would be more fitting for me. i would recommend these lenses for people who want to naturally lighten their eyes and have matching diameter!! i am not sure how it would appear on other eye colours besides dark brown tho. i wouldn't be wearing them often because it makes my eyes look red :(

femme classic 101-1 eyelashes

effect: 5 / 5

it's my first time wearing falsies so i figured it's best to start of natural! they truly do look natural as it is thin and curls out beautifully!! not gonna lie it feels weird wearing them like as though i am a new person lol. anyway they are pretty lashes, looks just like the photos!

comfort: 4 / 5

i had to trial wear this a few times to get used to applying lashes. i find applying them fairly easy as it is flexible and not stiff! it's just where to position them where they sit right on my eyes took me some time lol.

overall thoughts:

i love how super natural looking and would recommend for beginners! they aren't uncomfortable to wear at all, they are lightweight and flexible! highly recommend~~
